DEYMONAZ

André DEYMONAZ was born in 1946 in CASABLANCA. As the son of a sailor, he traveled around the world, sailed the oceans, and lived in Provence. From his childhood, spent in both the pacific islands and the bright sunlight of Provence, he has drawn the basic ingredients which make him a true “painter of sun”. André DEYMONAZ is a lover of nature who wants always to reflect its beauty, never to betray it. He approaches numerous themes without fear: market scenes, meeting places, Provence villages, and intimate moments of ordinary people . He is capable of transmitting the beauty of the stalls, the atmosphere of the smoky cafes, where one can almost hear the laughs, and noisy conversation. DEYMONAZ is an international artist, and has exhibited all over the world. He is mentioned in BENEZITH and AKOUN.

JAMIN

David was born on the 24th November 1970 in Nimes (South of France). Autodidact, David began drawing as a small child, later studying fine art at Calais. He is accomplished in all media but now favours acrylic. Later on, he learnt fine arts in Calais (North of France). His research is based essentially on the human being, his movement in space and the impact of his gestrual in the general atmosphere. David introduced the public to "the Introportrait" that touches on the intimate side of humans. A mix of introspection and self-portrait, the ‘Introportrait’ is, in essence, a self-portrait of the soul. The characters in his paintings are dancers, musicians, bystanders and dandies. David sets his subjects in the city, lively places where he observes the crowds looking for any tiny detail. A flaw in the scene shows the touching side of a human being. Colored faces, casual postures, deeply human natures: these characters are a reflection of ourselves. When he paints, he's like a mime artist working on his show in silence and with emotions. David’s paintings are strong and expressive showing a natural joy of life. Those who have been following him since the beginning of his career remember with nostalgia his musicians, his maternity, his faces with particular markings often with some interrogation. Exhibitions of David’s artworks include France, UK, Luxemburg, Holland, Switzerland, Portugal, Spain, Italy and Germany. For a couple of years, his artworks have been exhibited also in the United-States (New York), in Canada (Montreal) and in South Korea (Seoul).

KERDALO

KERDALO is born in 1962 in France . A graduate of the School of Applied Arts in Paris (1980). As soon as he graduated, KERDALO chose to express himself firstly through illustrations for the press, and then cartoons, publishing eight comic books of remarkable quality with Casterman éditions. In 1996, he decided to devote himself to painting. He was firstly and has had growing success thanks to his novel pictorial approach. He was firstly interested in impressionism and set down on canvas the landscapes from south of France . since 2010, he retained a fascination with urban universes and their boundless perspectives. Building lines dissapeare into the sky, wide avenues from Paris, London, NEW YORK appear endless, grey colors clash. In fact, Laurent KERDALO’s work belongs to no known movement. It is perhaps worth inventing the theme of Modern Impressionism to qualify this new pictorial approach. KERDALO is gifted with a rare talent for the treatment of light and colors.

CASTAN

During his first professional life, the painter Daniel CASTAN traveled a lot to NEW YOK and HONG KONG. He retained a fascination with urban universes and their boundless perspectives. His canvases are an attempt to recreate this graphic impression. Building lines dissapeare into the sky, wide avenues appear endless, colors clash. Daniel CASTAN had choosen to paint in alkyde ois, which can be treated like classical oil, but with a resin binder that allows for quick drying. »For me it’s the idéal, because I’m the painter of the moment, I work fast ». « As for the kniffe, it is my favourite tool. It allows me to work impastos and wide strokes, as well as to draw within the material. »

SLANG

TRESERRAS

Louis Treserras claims to be a self taught painter. For 30 years he has been painting young and mysterious nude female models. His rigorous approach to artistic composition would almost compare to a science, like mathematics. His style remains however poetic an intimist, with a very distinct and soft range of colors. A contemporary artist with a highly classical technique, characteristic of the uncompromissing self-taught artist.

VEILHAN

TANABE

Keiko was born in Kyoto, Japan. As a child growing up in an art-loving family, she always enjoyed drawing and painting and won many awards in children's art contests. However, art was not her chosen field of study later on. She earned a B.A. in intercultural communication (International Christian University, Tokyo, Japan) and an M.A. in international education (UCLA, California). She then worked in international relations positions in a Japanese government trade organization in Tokyo, at a large law firm in San Francisco and at a private consulting firm in San Diego. In the last 30 years, she has traveled extensively, mainly in European countries, Asia and North America. Through all these years, Keiko knew there was in her heart the growing desire to someday become an artist. That, fueled by her love of travel and strong interest in other cultures, eventually found its way out in 2003. After learning basic drawing and watercolor painting skills at a local community school in San Diego, she took on her first project as an artist together with her father, a renowned scholar of French literature in Japan. Through the Azure Sea and Sky of Provence: A Tribute to Her Joie de Vivre (Kosei Publishing, Osaka, Japan) was published in August, 2003, authored by her father and illustrated by Keiko. From then on, she intensely taught herself to be fluent in watercolor painting, just as one would do to master a foreign language. Mostly self-taught, Keiko embarked on a professional art career in 2005 and started exhibiting publicly. In the same year she took a workshop from Alvaro Castagnet and discovered the joy of plein-air painting. Since that year her paintings have been juried into many exhibitions across Americas and in Asia and Europe. Her work has been purchased by private and corporate collectors from all around the world. She also had her paintings published in leading art magazines in the U.S., Europe and Japan. Additionally, she self-publishes her art books and six books have been completed by 2014. She's also a sought-after workshop instructor. Since 2011, she has been invited to and completed successfully more than 150 workshops and numerous live demonstrations around the world. She has served as a juror in a number of art exhibitions including some major watercolor shows around the world such as the Transparent Watercolor Society of America, the International Watercolor Society, and the San Diego Watercolor Society. In 2017 she is a juror for the Central Watercolor Society Aquarius 2017 Pacific Regional Watermedia Exhibition, the Watercolor Society of Alabama 76th National Exhibition, and the Northwest Watercolor Society 77th Annual International Open Exhibition. In 2015 she was named an official Ambassador for Winsor & Newton. Keiko currently lives in San Diego, California.

VEZINET

VEZINET was born in 1957 in ALES. He is a self-taught painter. “Contemplation” is the word that best defines what stimulates VEZINET, now and in the passion of his youth. As the years have passed, his passion has turned into a calling, but it has never ceased to move him, and it continues to move us. This is an artist who has a capacity for fascinating landscapes; his talent translates the shapes and colours of a great variety of vistas to the canvas, from seascapes shrouded in mist to variegated joyful exteriors. VEZINET exhibits in about ten galleries in FRANCE, NEW YORK, JAPAN, and CANADA.

PARCELIER

Laurent PARCELIER is born in 1962 in France,. He was firstly interested in impressionism and set down on canvas the dordogne landscapes where he resided. But the cartoon lover soon swapped his colours for a pencil. He started drawing his own heroes and attented an Applied Art school. His obvioush talent soon materialised into the publication of several of his albums called “le drole de monde “ (“strange world”). His fame was begining to spread and his way seemed all traced out until the painting contest on the street where he was lent canvases, paint and paintbrushes. There, curiously, although he had not touched a paintbrush for several years, he hit the first painting prize . The south of France is his favourite location and his source of inspiration. Whilst admiring his style, one cannot help looking for impressionist influence. The aboudance of his blues and finely-shaded greens are an invitation to quietness and daydreaming, suggesting the bliss of an undisturbed , unruffled peaceful existence following its course gently and smoothly. His paintings are visions of an earthly paradise where everything is beautiful and in order, and where hours tick away imperceptibly and stealthily, without a sound
